1.
Arrive at the west
entrance of Meijer (Captain Only Meeting) at 6:00 AM.
2. T-shirts are available for a $5-$10 donation per shirt. Donations can be made at the T-shirt table.
3. The Captain (only ) for your team will be in charge of picking up a new family/aka set of shopping bags from Jason May (or an assigned elf) at the completion of shopping for the previous family. Captains will have a lanyard designating you as the ONLY person that can pick up a new set of bags each time.
4. Each team will have 6-8 families to shop for allowing approximately 30 minutes per family.
5. The dollar amount per person will be announced before shopping begins and is dependent upon funding prior to the event. (Typically $90-$100 per person.)
6. Put all shopping lists into one parent’s bag once shopping is completed. Send the bags with the transporters.
7. Checkout helpers will work with captains if items need to be removed to stay within the given budget. Any amount over the budget may be paid for by the team if they wish. (Secret Families cannot go over budget.)

EVERY CHILD must
get a non-clothing (TOY TYPE) item!
9. Lunch and drinks will be provided by the front tables starting around 10:00 AM. Please help yourselves.
10.Secret Families HELPERS are throughout the store. Please utilize these folks. They know deals and are shopping GURUs. THey’re here to help you.
